A delightful seminar, titled, “Money Management”, took place on 30th March 2019 at the well-organised library of University of Creative Technology, Chattogram (UCTC). The illustrious dignitaries were present on stage including Prof. Yunus, the honourable Vice-chancellor and Prof. Dr. Sheikh Sirajul Islam, the respected Registrar, University of Creative Technology, Chattogram (UCTC). The esteemed Founder of D Engineer’s Club (DEC), Engr. Somen K., also made his presence felt. In addition, the keynote speaker was Mr. K.M. Hasan Ripon, Adviser, Bangladesh Skill Development Institute (BSDI). All of them enlightened the audiences greatly with their treasured speeches. In tandem with the students, the teachers enjoyed the programme as well.
The seminar kicked off at 11:30 a.m. In fact, it was organised by D Engineer’s Club (DEC) with a view to celebrating Global Money Week (23-31 March, 2019) jointly with Bangladesh Bank. Basically, the aim of DEC is ever to create awareness among the students about the monetary system. The ‘mission’ in the brochure amply sums up their strategy in particular- “We are focusing on students’ area of expertise and directly helping them to find out their passion individually.” Furthermore, DEC provides the students with “…career programs in order to help them choose the best career and to engage them in multi-activities to make them able to take challenge, make decisions and gain organizing capabilities.”
It is worth mentioning that the involvement of the students on that certain day was simply mesmerising! It was a buoyant and enthralling programme, so to say. In fine, it goes without saying that the entire programme came off with flying colours literally!
