The Outcome - on leaving the course - you will have:

An ability to design a system, element or process to meet desired needs within practical constraints such as social, moral, wellbeing, monetary, political, manufacturability and supportability.

Pick out challenges from real life and estimate multiple computational ways to a problem and choose the best one.

Illustrate the aptitude to apply knowledge of computer science and engineering to improve and analyze computing systems.

An ability to cope up with technologies for existing and upcoming realistic problems.

Handle and use different ICT equipment’s according to the instructions of the Discipline.

Work practically with teams in designing and implementing software systems and effectively find solutions, manage disagreements and evaluate resources.

Message from the program head

Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department started its journey in 2015 at the very beginning of the establishment of the university. Now, the CSE Department is the one of the largest department of University of Creative Technology, Chittagong. A good number of full-time faculty members are serving about 300 students in B. Sc. The faculty members of the CSE department are highly qualified, energetic, young and friendly with the students and university authority is also trying their best to increase the existing facility of the students.

Students are engaged in various academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Our students also participate in regional contests of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest regularly.

Our graduates will work once successfully in reputed companies and organizations likes Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited, Data Soft, IP vision, Grameenphone, Robi, BanglaLink, TeleTalk, ICT division, Banks, Multinational Company and NGOs. Our graduates will pursue higher studies in different universities in the UK, Germany, Japan, Sweden, Norway, and many other countries.

As soon as possible, B.Sc. in CSE program at UCTCwill be accredited as a professional degree program by the Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE) of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB). Then, Our CSE graduates can become a member of IEB.
