The University of Creative Technology Chittagong (UCTC) recently held its Syndicate Meeting, which was attended by prominent members of the university and the education sector. The meeting was held with the purpose of discussing and reviewing the current state of the university, approving the decisions of the previous academic council meetings and to devise strategies for its improvement. Among the attendees were the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Zahid Hossain Sharif who presided over the meeting and the Honorable Treasurer, Ahmed Sharif Talukder. Also in attendance were the Deans of the School of Science and Engineering and the School of Business, Prof Dr. M Abdus Samad and Prof. Dr. Mohammad Solaiman, respectively. Other prominent figures included Dr. Nurul Absar, the Exam Controller, Mr. Mohammad Abu Yusuf Mia, Additional Secretary of the Education Ministry, and Mr. Mohammad Osman, the Founder of UCTC. Kazi Salahuddin Akbar, a former member of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission, and Professors Jamal Uddin Ahmed and Kaushik Deb from CUET were also in attendance, as well as the Registrar, Salahuddin Ahmed, Deputy Registrar, Abu Jabed, and Deputy Exam Controller, Md Ridwanul Hoque. The meeting was a fruitful one, with attendees discussing and sharing their thoughts on how to improve the university's academic programs, research activities, and administrative functions.
